L’AQUILA – A theater among the people. This is the meaning of the theatrical guided tours that are repeated in the city during four thematic events organized by WelcomeAqwith the theater company Fenix1530 directed by Luca Basile and the Tour Operator “Hadrian’s Travels” and the support of Carispaq Foundation. Presented yesterday morning at the headquarters of the Foundation, the theatrical visits are a new way to promote the city with open doors, among people, in the streets, in the squares, in the courtyards to discover the history of the city of L ‘ Aquila and Italy accompanied by the protagonists of the stories told. The first experience, this summer with the program on the kidnapping of Moro was a success and kept the protagonists in suspense, with brigades which suddenly burst onto the front of the stage.
This time, the actors will guide visitors to discover places in the city linked to theatrical history. We start next Saturday November 5 with “Acte Ultimo – trial of the history of fascism and the Quercia operation” and with two series of visits at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; while at 6 p.m., at the Auditorium of the Carispaq Foundation (C.so Vittorio Emanuele II 196), there will be a conference by historian Walter Cavalieri on Operation Quercia. The program of the guided tour includes three other appointments: the On November 26, on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, “Beatrice Cenci – la storia“, the December 10 “the Middle Ages”, to conclude the On February 16, 2023, during Carnival, with “Il Marchese del Grillo”.
